This is our second year working with the Dhaka Bor Banti cooperative in Guji and we couldn't be more excited to share this offering with you! Guji is a renowned coffee-growing zone in Ethiopia that's known for its exceptional, high-elevation coffees. This coffee is considered a "Grade 1," a score that indicates the highest quality and processing based off of Ethiopia's coffee grading scale. We're getting sweet, jammy notes of berries, rose, and hibiscus.
Heart it if you’d brew it, or pass.
Ethiopia Guji Zone, Natural Process is a medium-acidity coffee from Guji Zone, Ethiopia. Acidity here is a gentle brightness, not sourness. The lingonberry jam note is part of that brightness.
Ethiopia Guji Zone, Natural Process breaks down as fruity and floral.
Fruity×1
lingonberry jam
Ripe fruit. Berries and stone fruit taste juicy and sweet, not sharp.
Floral×2
hibiscus, rose
Light perfume. Jasmine, rose, or blossom sits high in the aroma and is easiest to taste in a clean cup.
Other×1
juicy
A note outside the main families. It still shapes the cup, just not in one tidy slice.
