This coffee is from the small Ethiopian village of Idido, located in the Gedeo zone. The lot comes from the 700 small farmers of the village, and is made up of mixed heirloom varietals. The coffee is handpicked, washed, fermented, and then dried on raised beds for 21 days. The farmers take great care during the fermentation and drying process to make sure that lower quality cherries are removed and that the beds remain clean of contamination.
Heart it if you’d brew it, or pass.
