This distinctive co-fermented coffee from Sebastián Ramírez and El Placer Farms in Quindío, Colombia. Sebastián is a fourth-generation coffee producer who has become internationally recognized for his innovative processing methods and commitment to quality. Through El Placer Farms, he combines traditional coffee cultivation with carefully controlled fermentation techniques to produce coffees that are expressive, consistent, and traceable. This lot is a caturra processed using a honey co-fermentation method. After an extended anaerobic fermentation, the coffee undergoes a second controlled fermentation with dehydrated strawberries, designed to enhance and elevate its red fruit characteristics while maintaining balance and clarity in the cup.
Heart it if you’d brew it, or pass.
Colombia Red Fruits Co-Ferment is a medium-acidity coffee from Quindio, Colombia. Acidity here is a gentle brightness, not sourness. The strawberry yogurt note is part of that brightness.
Colombia Red Fruits Co-Ferment breaks down as fruity, floral and spice.
Fruity×3
strawberry yogurt, raspberries, cherry
Ripe fruit. Berries and stone fruit taste juicy and sweet, not sharp.
Floral×1
hibiscus
Light perfume. Jasmine, rose, or blossom sits high in the aroma and is easiest to taste in a clean cup.
Spice×1
cinnamon
Warm baking spice. Cinnamon, clove, or pepper adds a tingle, not heat.
