Abdurahiman Ababulgu is a second-generation coffee farmer based in Kedamesa, within the Gomma woreda of Jimma. His farm sits at 1,950–2,150 masl, an elevation that contributes to slow cherry maturation and vibrant flavor development. Abdurahiman manages both natural and washed processing, drying on raised beds, carefully tracking drying time and using moisture meters to ensure consistency. While his operation is firmly rooted in tradition, Abdurahiman is also forward-looking. He has identified recent challenges such as unpredictable weather and fluctuating cherry prices, and his long-term goals include installing an eco-friendly pulper. In addition, he hopes to provide agricultural materials to surrounding community members, continuing the Tokuma Group ethos of mutual support.
Heart it if you’d brew it, or pass.
ABDURAHMAN ABABULGU Natural Ethiopia is a medium-acidity coffee from Gomma, Jimma, Ethiopia. Acidity here is a gentle brightness, not sourness. The blueberry note is part of that brightness.
ABDURAHMAN ABABULGU Natural Ethiopia tastes mostly fruity.
Fruity×3
blueberry, strawberry, raspberry
Ripe fruit. Berries and stone fruit taste juicy and sweet, not sharp.
